Aman Chauhan, MD

Medical Oncologist, Pediatric Oncologist, and Director of NET Theranostics, UK Markey Cancer Center

Dr. Chauhan is Director of NET Theranostics at the UK Markey Cancer Center and a medical oncologist serving both the adult and pediatric populations. His training includes specialized training in neuroendocrine tumors, clinical trials, and research development. He has a clinical emphasis on theranostics, such as the nuclear medicine treatment Lutethera, which can be used to treat neuroendocrine tumors.

Jaydira Del Rivero, MD

Dr. Del Rivero is a Physician Scientist in the Developmental Therapeutics Branch. She is the Principal Investigator of the Natural History Study for Neuroendocrine Neoplasm and Adrenocortical Cancer to provide the basis of further development of therapeutic interventions, prevention/screening guidelines, endpoints for future clinical trials, and patient reported outcome measures. Dr. Del Rivero’s current efforts is the development of novel treatment approaches and targeted therapies for endocrine malignancies such as advanced gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, adrenocortical cancer and pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma.

Electron Kebebew, MD, FACS

Dr. Kebebew is Professor and Chief of General Surgery at Stanford University. He is an internationally recognized expert in Endocrine Oncology and Surgery. He has performed more than three thousand operations on the adrenal, parathyroid and thyroid glands, and for neuroendocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas.

Steve Waguespack, MD

Steven G. Waguespack, MD is a Professor in the Department of Endocrine Neoplasia and Hormonal Disorders (with a joint appointment in the Department of Pediatrics-Patient Care) at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, USA. Dr. Waguespack was uniquely trained in both adult and pediatric endocrinology at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, and he maintains board certification in both subspecialties. Since 2002, Dr. Waguespack has been on the faculty at MD Anderson and is consistently recognized as one of “America’s Top Doctors for Cancer” in endocrinology. Having a broad scope of practice, Dr. Waguespack’s major clinical and research interests are thyroid cancer, hereditary endocrine tumor syndromes, and pituitary tumors. Dr. Waguespack has served or is serving on several national and international guidelines committees charged with developing evidence-based recommendations for medullary thyroid carcinoma/multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2, Von Hippel-Lindau disease, and multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1. Considered to be an expert in multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes, Dr. Waguespack is privileged to be able to care for patients with these disorders across the age continuum.
